Can every shower be restored with this process?+
No. The existing surface must first be evaluated. Loose tile, active water intrusion, structural movement, major grout failure, or other underlying conditions may require additional repairs or a different solution.
Can you repair missing grout?+
Minor grout repair can be included depending on the condition and scope of the project. Extensive grout failure or structural movement must be evaluated separately.
Can I choose the finish?+
Gloss, satin, and matte clear finish options may be available depending on the surface, condition, and selected restoration system.
Is this the same as full resurfacing?+
No. Clear restoration is designed to preserve the appearance of eligible existing tile while cleaning, restoring, and protecting the surface. Full resurfacing can provide a color change and a more complete visual transformation.
Will I still need to clean my shower?+
Yes. All showers require routine cleaning and maintenance. The goal of the restoration system is to provide a refreshed, professionally finished surface that is easier to maintain with proper care.
Can you help if my shower floor is slippery?+
ILS Resurfacing offers ILS Slip Guard traction options for appropriate resurfacing applications. The shower floor should be evaluated separately to determine the appropriate system.
