Refinishing

Our services include bathtub, ceramic tile and sink refinishing, as well

as surface repairs for broken tiles, tubs, and vanity tops.

Choosing to change the color on a tile surface is significantly less expensive than replacing the tiles entirely.

We begin by thoroughly cleaning any surface to be refinished with an industrial strength cleaner.

Here’s our Process to Our Step-by-Step Refinishing Process:

Surface Preparation: The surface to be refinished will need to be thoroughly cleaned a minimum of one day in advance using a non-abrasive cleanser to remove any dirt, soap scum, grease, or residue.

Masking: Next, we carefully mask everything around the area to be refinished. This step is crucial to protect adjacent surfaces from any overspray during the application. Only the specific surface being refinished remains exposed.

Priming: We then apply an industrial-strength epoxy base primer. This primer creates a robust foundation for the topcoat, ensuring superior adhesion and a smooth, even finish.

Color Application: Once the primer has thoroughly dried, we proceed to apply the chosen finish. Whether it's a stone finish or a solid color, we typically apply 2-3 coats to achieve optimal thickness and uniformity.

Sealing: After the final coat has dried completely, we apply a clear coat in the same meticulous manner. This clear coat serves to enhance the durability and aesthetic appeal of your newly refinished surface, ensuring it remains protected and lustrous.

Through these steps, we transform old surfaces into vibrant, updated features of your home.

Most resurfacing projects can be completed within a day, with the surface ready for light use within about 24 hours, and for normal to heavy use within 36-48 hours.

We offer expertise in bathtub and sink refinishing, and we also perform repairs on damaged surfaces such as vanity tops, tubs, and tiles.

The cost to refinish surfaces varies based on the size and extent of the damage. For example, refinishing a vanity top, changing the color of a tub, or working on a one-piece fiberglass tub/shower unit, each has a different starting price point. Costs for fiberglass repairs will depend on the extent of the damage.

Choosing to change the color on a tile surface is significantly less expensive than replacing the tiles entirely. Similarly, the starting price for refinishing bath cabinets will vary depending on the cabinet size, with costs increasing for larger or more detailed projects.

For specific pricing tailored to your project’s needs, we recommend scheduling an appointment for a detailed estimate. This approach ensures that we can provide you with accurate pricing and service details customized to your requirements.
